Real Wedding: Lianne & Caleb (Part 1 – The Ceremony)
Lianne and Caleb married in a sweet and intimate ceremony on the Peninsula at Shingley Beach in Queensland. With the Coral Sea as their backdrop the pair exchanged vows in front of their beloved family and friends.
The couple who have been together now for four years first met through a mutual friend, not long after Caleb had returned from his first deployment to Afghanistan. Caleb proposed to Lianne in late August to the delight of their family and friends. To celebrate their impending nuptials the couple held a ‘massive party’ in their backyard in October. The large backyard catered to their excited relatives who had travelled from Brisbane to Townsville for the bash. The couple went all out for their engagement party by hiring a waiter to mix free cocktails all night for their guests and even having a blow up boxing ring. The fun and memorable night was only the beginning!
Lianne and Caleb tied the knot at Airlie Beach on the 12th of April, 2014. The couple chose Airlie Beach as their ideal wedding location for its stunning beach views. They also figured Airlie Beach was a great tourist location that all their family and friends could enjoy. Many of their guests ended up staying for the week, experiencing all the amazing sights the Whitsundays has to offer.
Speaking on her ceremony Lianne said ‘the day was great, all our family and friends enjoyed the wedding experience. Caleb and I both had a lot of fun at our wedding reception.’
The couples Border collie, Bandit, did exceptionally well at the ceremony as their lovable ring bearer.
