Real Wedding: Dean & Erin
Dean and Erin first laid eyes on each other when they were 17 and have been together ever since. After proposing on Erin’s 21st birthday and a nine year engagement which included the birth of two children Dean and Erin finally decided it was time to tie the knot.
‘From the beginning we wanted our wedding to be casual and have a very relaxed atmosphere. We just wanted everyone to have a great day and night,’ Erin said.
With 100 guests in attendance Dean and Erin exchanged their vows in a romantic, picturesque beach setting. The couple opted for a beautifully styled wedding centred on capturing an enchanting bohemian, rustic chic theme.
Erin’s favourite moment from the day: ‘When after all the planning and hard work, I was finally walking down the aisle with my son to marry my other half.’
‘Everything about our day was special to us because it was exactly what we wanted; relaxed and fun. Our wedding party was the best bunch of people who kept us laughing all day -I don’t think I have ever had so much fun in one day before.’
As for the details Erin’s favourite was her dress ‘I just loved it!!’
Erin was equally impressed with her photos. ‘I used Ben Yew because he came highly recommended from a friend and I loved his relaxed soft style of pictures.’
Erin’s advice for any brides-to-be: ‘Don’t sweat the small details, you will not look back later and freak out that the flowers on everyone’s tables were the wrong shade of pink! Have a plan with a big picture and find a great stylist who shares your style and give them free rein to come up with some great ideas.’
